Of course, minors can fly alone in Aeromexico. However, if the minor aged from 5 to 14 years flies alone, then they could get the pt for the unaccompanied minor service on top of the flight tickets. Further, Aeromexico Unaccompanied Minor Service is available for direct flight only. Besides that, children older than 15 years can also opt for the UMNR service, and if they do, then they also have to comply with its terms and conditions.

  • A child between 5 and 14 years old can use the unaccompanied minor service from the airlines, but only when they are flying without a parent or guardian. 

  • If you are using the UMNR service, you will arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to the departure of the flight.

  • The parent or guardian has to stay at the airport for 15 minutes after the departure of the flight. 

  • A child is to bring all the travel documents, including the UMNR form, or else the booking can be cancelled by the airlines. 


How much is the unaccompanied minor fee on Aeromexico?

A UMNR service is the add-on feature of Aeromexico that offers privileges to the kid's solo flyers. In order to have those, you may have to have extra money other than the ticket cost. So, the Aeromexico Unaccompanied Minor Fee is $36 for the low season and $46 for the peak season for the flight in Mexico. If you are flying to international destinations or have a flight to/from the United States, then you could be charged $155 in the low season and $165 in the high season.
