  • If a child is aged from 5 to 11 years and flying without a parent or guardian can use the unaccompanied minor service in the itinerary.

  • When a child is of 12 to 17 years then it is optional to opt for an UMNR service.

  • A minor can fly alone over a flight that is operated by the Finnair or Nordic Regional Airlines.

  • Children flying alone may have to present a specific document, and without that their booking can be canceled.

A minor can fly alone on the Finnair by submitting some additional charges. However, the Finnair Unaccompanied Minor Fee is around $55 for Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltics. Apart from this, the cost is $88 for a flight that is within Europe and $155 for long haul flights.
